Solving complex problems in agriculture, agronomy, plant protection, soil science, agrochemistry, land reclamation, horticulture, meadow farming, landscape gardening; breeding and seed production of crops, agricultural biotechnology, crop production technology.
Material and technical base
Classrooms for lecture and seminar type classes (516, 511), course design (coursework), group and individual consultations, current monitoring and interim certification (518, 510); training and reclamation polygon "Suzha" and geo-chamber, equipped with the following meteorological instruments: electrical thermometers, a device to determine soil filtration, anemometer to determine wind speed, psychrometers, a turntable to measure water flow rate, a weather kit: a temperature recorder (temperature logger) DS1922L-F5, a temperature recorder set iBDLR-L-U, a hygrograph DS1923-F5 (temperature and humidity recorder), a temperature and humidity recorder set iBDLR-3-U. For the lecture type classes in the classrooms there are sets of demonstration equipment and teaching and visual aids, providing thematic illustrations that correspond to the working curricula of the disciplines (modules). To demonstrate the methods of irrigation on the polygon there are models: furrow irrigation, sprinkling, narrow strip irrigation, in-soil irrigation, drip irrigation.
