Forestry

The result of mastering the disciplines of the master's program will be a profound understanding of the scientific and legal support in forestry, technologies of rational use, protection and conservation of forest resources. This will allow master students to independently design, adapt and verify the correct execution of the basic principles of the technology of rational and caring use of natural wealth and resources. Due to the high level of technical training, the masters will easily use mathematical tools to model projects and their objects and present in an accessible form at a high professional level the results of development and research.

The organization conducts entrance examinations in person and (or) using distance technologies (subject to the identification of applicants in passing their entrance examinations).

  • Scientific and legal support in forestry, technology for the rational use, protection and conservation of forest resources;
  • the design, adaptation and validation of the basic principles of the technology of rational and caring use of natural wealth and resources;
  • the use of mathematical tools for modeling projects and their objects;
  • presentation in an accessible form at a high professional level of the results of developments and research.

Material and technical base

  • Three classrooms are used for training, one of which is a computer classroom, one lecture room and one classroom for practical classes;
  • technical means are used to teach students to visualize educational material: stands, multimedia projectors, interactive whiteboards.

Masters are welcome in various environmental funds, forestries and logging companies. The acquired knowledge will help to optimize the technological process of reproduction of forest wealth as well as the preservation of natural heritage. Also in the professional field is the wise use of land and grounds. Most of the graduates are employed in the forestry sector, supervisory bodies, national parks, and nature reserves. Those who speak a foreign language well should not limit their search to Russian organizations, but should send their resumes to various international companies.
