Essential skills
Technology students learn to evaluate the quality of agricultural raw materials and processed products. They learn to determine the economic efficiency of agricultural production and organize the production of different types of products. At the senior courses they pass the technology of production of crop and livestock products, processes and apparatuses, facilities and equipment for processing and storage of livestock and crop products, methods, regimes and technologies of storage and processing of livestock and crop products. Specialists-technologists are employed at agricultural and processing enterprises, standardization, metrology and certification centers, accredited laboratories, and can also open their own business: a farm, processing or food enterprise.
Material and technical base
Five classrooms with 12 computers and one lecture room are used for training. Classrooms are equipped with specialized furniture and technical means of education, serving for the presentation of educational information. The classroom for the production of bakery products and UNPK (sausage production) are equipped with the necessary technological equipment. Rooms for students' independent work are equipped with computers with the ability to connect to the Internet and provide access to the electronic information and educational environment of the Buryat State Agricultural Academy.
